Description
It would be useful to have an instance of the api deployed to the k8s cluster that is used for testing k8s related integrations (for example, developing an open-telemetry module to send data to a honeycomb dataset), since the cluster cannot be replicated locally (very easily).

Research direction
Start by inspecting how the API is deployed and how the Kubernetes cluster used for integration testing is configured. Confirm the requirements for a staging API instance, including how integrations such as OpenTelemetry can reach it. Done means the API is deployed and accessible in that test cluster for Kubernetes-related integration development.
