Description

Overview

If possible, let's move the task card to "in progress" when work start is initiated. It is not necessary at this time to move it back if work stop or work drop is called.

Deliverables

  • Create backlog issue to add --update-board support in work stop and work drop to move the issue back into the project backlog.

Research direction

Start at the work start entry point and trace how it identifies the task card and project state. Check the requested --update-board behavior for work stop and work drop, then verify that starting work moves the card to "in progress" and that the follow-up backlog issue is recorded.
