Is there touchscreen navigation to go back a page?

* Distribution - Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon
Issue
Not an issue per se, but a question and possibly a request.
In presentation mode on my HP Spectre laptop, I can tap the touchscreen to forward a page.
Is there a way to go back a page using touchscreen? I tried tapping in other parts of the screen and swiping, but I can only get pages to go forward, never backward.
When a mouse is attached, I can use the right mouse button to go back a page. But I want to try reading a PDF with the screen folded back, so it's in tablet mode -- no mouse attached. I would love to be able to go back a page using a touchscreen gesture.
It's possible I haven't found the functionality, if it's present, so please let me know if this is possible. Thanks!
