Bug description

Behavior -> Double-click on a blank area to go to the parent folder

This feature does not work in list view.

This is disappointing in the "so near yet so far" way. I love the double-click back, and love list view, but the two don't get along. At least, I am unable to find a blank area to click on.

Steps to reproduce

Self-evident

Expected behavior

There is a small blank area to the left of each filename, it does not work to double click. I can't find any other blank space.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in Nemo 6.0.2 on Mint 22.0 using list view, then trace the existing double-click navigation behavior described in the report. Done means double-clicking the blank area to the left of a filename navigates to the parent folder in list view, with the existing behavior preserved elsewhere.
