Description

Hi, this is just a suggestion for a future theme. I see there's a rush to round the appearance, but what if the Mint Y theme had a square version? I see that the Shell theme keeps the menu and calendar. Squares but the rest of the system It's a mixture Rounded edges and straight parts are just an idea, of course. I know that Mint L exists, but the window buttons are too small, and I know a user could easily fix that with customization, but I feel the Mint team is missing something of quality.
Thank you for the great work with Mint.

Research direction

Review the existing Mint Y, Shell, and Mint L themes to understand the differences in corner shapes, menu and calendar styling, and window buttons. Define the scope of a square Mint Y variant before making changes. Done means the proposed variant has a consistent square appearance and addresses the window-button concern.
