Hi, I'm an application developer who recently got a report about the theme not working currently in flatpak on Linux Mint: https://github.com/ilya-zlobintsev/LACT/issues/560
This turned out to be cased by the fact that the Linux Mint themes are published on Flathub and do get applied to flatpak applications, but the themes themselves (e.g. this repo and others for different theme variations):
- Do not contain a GTK4 theme (for non-libadwaita GTK4 applications)
- Haven't been updated in 2 years, despite the themes being actively maintained here
The themes themselves work correctly when manually exposed to flatpak, as described in the workaround in the linked issue, so it's only a matter of the Flathub packages being incomplete and outdated.
