Steps to reproduce

always, even on different systems

Research direction

Start by locating the mintUpdate status-message entry point and reproduce the issue on Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3 with German language settings. Compare the current message with the requested wording, including update-source refresh timing; the work is done when the status clearly distinguishes local update availability and reports the last refresh.
