Bug description
The panel clock seems to not redraw itself properly. Over time, part of previous digits seem to remain on the edges.
If the panel font of the "right zone" is set higher, the bug is more visible. It also seems to more likely happen on the right. Probably because the minutes are displayed there, thus they should redraw more often.
I would have added a screenshot, but the moment I screenshot, it properly redraws.
Steps to reproduce
- increase the font size of the panel
- enable "Large text" under Accessibility
- wait, and do not touch the clock with the mouse (if you do, it properly redraws)
Expected behavior
Don't have artifacts in the clock.
Additional information
Happens on all my machines.

Research direction
Start with the Cinnamon panel clock entry point and reproduce the issue on Mint 22.1 with package version 6.4.8, increased panel font size, and Large text enabled. Leave the clock untouched until artifacts appear, then verify that the clock redraws cleanly without requiring mouse interaction.
