Bug description
I have two monitors, one 1080×1920 (portrait) as Display 1 and one 2560×1440 (landscape) as Display 2. Display 2 is the primary monitor. I've spotted the problem that for a significant portion of applications, their initial window width, when opened, are limited by the 1080px by Display 1, no matter which monitor they are opened from.
To exemplify this, Firefox. I use Firefox on Display 2 and resize it to a width larger than 1080px. This change is reflected and recorded in Firefox's configuration file (I can make sure, so this is not a Firefox issue). If I close it and open again on Display 2, it will still have width of 1080px. I have to manually resize the window every time I use it. Someone posted this issue on Firefox forum, but any solutions mentioned there are not having any effects. Similar problems also happen for other applications.
So far, I found that Mozilla apps (Firefox, Thunderbird), Qt apps (Telegram), libAdwaita apps (GNOME apps), and GTK4 apps are all experiencing this issue. This really disturbs the experience of using the OS.
Steps to reproduce
Described above.
Expected behavior
The apps should open in their default dimensions or their last-time dimension.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. First reproduce the issue with the specified portrait and landscape monitors and affected Firefox, Qt, libAdwaita, and GTK4 applications, then trace Cinnamon's window placement and size handling. Done means applications open on the larger display at their default or last-used dimensions.
