Description
LM Version: 22.1
Night Light in Linux Mint Cinnamon is behaving inconsistently. Sometimes after booting the computer, Night Light does not work at all. It doesn't activate automatically, and manually turning it on in Night Light settings has no effect. The entire feature seems broken during these sessions — there is no change in screen color, and it behaves as if Night Light is completely disabled, even though it's enabled.
Rebooting sometimes fixes it, but the issue returns randomly.

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the failure after boot and comparing automatic and manual Night Light activation; done means the cause is identified and Night Light works reliably in both cases, with regression coverage where applicable.
