Bug description
My laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 5 Pro 16ACH6) is set to suspend after 5 minutes. I'm used to have the screen luminosity to a low setting. However, when I wake up my laptop from suspend, the luminosity resets to the max setting.
This bug appeared only after the 22.1 big update. 22.0 worked as expected.
Steps to reproduce
- Set the laptop luminosity to any setting (ideally a low one to notice the issue)
- In the Power Management app, set the "Suspend when inactive for..." setting to anything but "Never" (for both A.C. and battery power)
- Let the laptop suspend
- Wake the laptop from suspend
Expected behavior
The screen luminosity stays at the setting set before the suspension.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the suspend and wake sequence on Mint 22.1 with package version 6.4.8, then trace the screen-luminosity handling around wake; done means the pre-suspend luminosity is retained.
