Background zoom is wrong on every login with multiple monitors

Bug description

I have a multiple monitor setup, one is 1920x1080, and the other is 5120x1440, and my background's resolution is 5120x1440. Every time I log in, the background is very clearly zoomed in on my 5120x1440p monitor. I've seen this reported here as well: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=220953 (this describes the issue better). If I set the background image again (just switch from one image to another), it looks good again, and is not zoomed in anymore.

Steps to reproduce

1. own two different-resolution monitors. (or set the resolution as different in the settings)
2. set a background with the highest monitor's resolution, with picture aspect: zoom
3. reboot
4. the background is zoomed in

Expected behavior

I expect the background behavior to be consistent and not change the zoom on reboot.

Start by reproducing the login behavior on Linux Mint 22.1 with Cinnamon 6.4.8, an NVIDIA RTX 3080, two monitors at 1920x1080 and 5120x1440, and a background set to zoom. Compare the background immediately after login with the result after switching images; done means the zoom remains consistent across reboot without resetting the background.
