Bug description

Menu has a 'part of it' stuck behind when scrolling up or down when we have the pointer pointing over one of the item in the list of menu, it doesn't fix itself until we move our mouse pointer(Attached a screen recording below in 'Additonal information')

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open menu on the bottom left corner
  2. Place the mouse pointer over one of the item in the menu list
  3. Scroll up or down
Expected behavior

It should scroll up or down smoothly without any glitchiness

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue through the bottom-left menu with the pointer over a menu item, then scroll up and down as described in the reproduction steps and compare with the attached video. Locate the Cinnamon menu implementation and determine where the visual glitch persists until pointer movement; done means scrolling remains smooth without the stuck portion.
