Research direction
No source file, test, or Cinnamon entry point is identified in the report. Start by reproducing the black-screen flicker on Linux Mint 22 with Cinnamon 6.2.9, kernel 6.8.0-51, and the AMD Navi 22 graphics device, then determine which reported interaction triggers it. Done means the listed tab, scrolling, playback, and mouse actions no longer blank the screen.
