Bug description

The mouse cursor is invisible when it's not above a modal window of an application running in full-screen mode.

Steps to reproduce
  • open an image in Xviewer
  • press F11 to go to full screen
  • press to delete the image

A confirmation window opens and the mouse pointer becomes invisible in any part of the screen outside of the modal window. When that modal window is small relative to the screen, it's quite hard to find the pointer.

Expected behavior

The mouse pointer should be clearly visible at all time.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. First reproduce the issue in Cinnamon with Xviewer using the listed fullscreen and delete steps, then trace fullscreen modal-dialog and pointer handling. Done means the pointer remains visible outside the modal window while the confirmation dialog is open.
