Research direction
Reproduce the issue on Cinnamon 6.2.9 under Fedora 41 with the ThinkPad T460 and Intel i915 graphics by suspending and waking the system. Start by tracing Cinnamon's suspend/resume handling and pointer visibility, then verify that the pointer is visible and responsive immediately after wake without requiring Alt-Tab or the Meta key.
