Bug description
When I turn off my computer I hear a loud crack sound on my speakers. The issue is alerady described here:
- https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=404572
Steps to reproduce
I have a ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 AMD, I believe this is a problem that obviosuly does not happen on all devices.
Expected behavior
I expect that there are not strong cracking noise when I turn off my pc.
Additional information
Current work around is to shutdown the pc using this command:
amixer -q -D pulse sset Master mute

Research direction
No source file or test is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing the shutdown behavior on the listed ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 AMD running Mint 22 Cinnamon, and compare it with the provided amixer workaround. Done means shutdown no longer produces the loud speaker crack without requiring that workaround.
