Description

Package version

6.2.9

Graphics hardware in use

Intel Corporation Alder Lake-N [UHD Graphics]

Bug description

With a dual screen on a GTKtek Nucbox with 2 HDMI interfaces and the primary screen being on the secondary (right side from front) built in HDMI, when returning from suspend state the primary screen on the secondary HDMI is not reactivated, while the secondary screen on the primary HDMI (left side from front) restores and then becomes the single primary interface. Reset by CTL-ALT-Backspace leaving all applications closed and restarting (login state).

Steps to reproduce

When Suspending and leaving the mouse cursor over the primary interface on the secondary HDMI all will work normally recovering as expected (which I now take notice to do), when leaving the mouse cursor over the secondary screen on the primary HDMI, restoring from suspend will disable the secondary HDMI and make the primary HDMI the only single interface.

Expected behavior

Both Screens should be reactivated as when the mouse cursor is left over the primary screen.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing suspend and resume with the specified Linux Mint, Cinnamon, Intel graphics, and dual-HDMI setup, comparing cursor placement on each screen. Done means both displays reactivate after resume without requiring a session restart.
