Bug description
Linux Mint takes almost a minute to go from the login screen to the desktop. When my PC is up, through "htop" you can see that over 4GB of memory are used.
After about 5 minutes the process called "cinnamon --replace" goes from using more than 66% of the RAM memory to using less than 5%. At the same time, the screen seems to glitch for a moment and then everything goes back to normal. If I have full-screen windows during this event, they move up slightly.
Steps to reproduce
I don't know.
Expected behavior
When my PC is up, less RAM should be used and screen shouldn't glitch.
Additional information
I installed Linux Mint 22 on my PC in early August and the first month everything seemed to be going well. At first I thought that this bug was due to a problem with the applet "cinnamenu" but i was wrong.
If I need to provide any other information or files, please ask.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the delayed transition from the login screen to the desktop on Linux Mint 22 while monitoring memory with htop. Observe the cinnamon --replace process and the accompanying screen glitch, then identify the missing reproduction details or diagnostics; done means the excessive memory use and visual glitch no longer occur.
