Bug description
When I open the lid of my 2011 Macbook Pro, it takes 20-30 seconds to resume from Suspend.
Steps to reproduce
My settings are such that closing the lid of the Macbook puts it into Suspend. When I open the lid, the system does not resume for a good 20-30 seconds.
Expected behavior
I would expect the system to resume within a couple of seconds of me opening the lid (as per my other laptops).

Research direction
No source file, test, or Cinnamon entry point is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing suspend and lid-open resume on the listed MacBook hardware and Linux Mint setup, then collect evidence about the 20–30 second delay. Done means resume completes within a couple of seconds or the issue is narrowed to a specific component.
