One expects such bread-and-butter stuff - for such is at issue with at least most of the bug reports - to work.

All of the aforecited bug reports are open. Some have been labelled 'bugs' by the Mint team.
The oldest of the bug reports is five years old.
Fixing this stuff would be a considerable 'quality of life' improvement to Mint.
