Bug description
When Cinnamon is restarted, and the main Thunderbird (version 115.6.0) is open but minimized, the Thunderbird window gets corrupted.
Steps to reproduce
- Have a Thunderbird window open, but minimized.
- Restart Cinnamon via a panel context-menu or else by updating an applet.
- Observe corruption of the type shown in my screenshot.
Expected behavior
No window corruption.
Additional information
-
Normally I use Plank rather than having a panel-with-GWL. I find though that even when I close Plank, and create a new panel with GWL, the problem occurs.
-
Evidently enough, the bug here could be in Thunderbird.
-
My kernel: 6.5.0-15-generic.

Research direction
Reproduce on Mint 21.3 with Cinnamon 6.0.4, Thunderbird 115.6.0, and Intel UHD 620: minimize the main Thunderbird window, then restart Cinnamon from the panel context menu or by updating an applet. Compare the result with the expected behavior of no window corruption, and investigate whether Cinnamon or Thunderbird is responsible.
