Bug description
When network manager settings for a wired network card is set for auto negotiate, the box to change network speed is grayed out and displays 100 Mb/s, regardless of the actual speed.
Steps to reproduce
Open network manager and view properties for a wired ethernet connection. Set negotiation to Automatic. Exit properties. Open properties for the same wired ethernet connection. Speed settings is set to 100 Mb/s, regardless of the actual speed.
Expected behavior
Speed should show the actual negotiated speed of the adapter.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue through the wired network connection properties in Cinnamon on Linux Mint 21.2, following the listed negotiation and reopen steps. Trace the network manager settings entry point responsible for the displayed speed; done means Automatic negotiation shows the adapter's actual negotiated speed instead of 100 Mb/s.
