Description
New windows like Firefox or Nemo always start near the left screen border and hide my drive icons. The last position of these windows is not stored. I already used the option to prevent Firefox from maximizing automatically:
gsettings set org.cinnamon.muffin auto-maximize false
I would like to have a configuration option to define the XY-Position, where the windows start per default, if not the last position is stored.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start with the Cinnamon/Muffin window-placement behavior and the existing org.cinnamon.muffin auto-maximize setting, then determine how a configurable default XY position should interact with stored last positions; done means the requested setting works for new windows without overriding saved positions.
