Description
* Cinnamon 5.4.11
* Mint 21
* Geforce 1660 Mobile & nvidia-driver-515
* 64 bit
Issue
Sometimes, after changing workspaces, the maximized windows from the previous workspace will still be visible in the current workspace, but it won't be actually there (you can't click on anything), but it's just like a background image.
Steps to reproduce
This one just happens sometimes:
- Maximize window in one workspace.
- Move to another workspace.
- You'll still be able to see the window, even though you can't interact with it.
Expected behaviour
You wouldn't be able to see an existing window from another workspace in the current one.

Research direction
No file or test is named. Start by reproducing the workspace-switching sequence on the reported Cinnamon 5.4.11 and Mint 21 setup, then trace the desktop's workspace and maximized-window rendering behavior. Done means a maximized window from one workspace is no longer visible after switching to another workspace, while windows remain usable.
