Issue
When there are 3 snapped windows, 2 taking 1/4 of the screen and one taking 1/2, resizing the latter results in only one of the 1/4 windows resizing alongside it. Also, the two 1/4 windows seem to resize themselves in relation to each other for no reason.
Steps to reproduce
- Tile three windows, one taking half of the screen and the other two taking a fourth.
- Resize the larger window for a while
Expected behaviour
Resizing the 1/2 window would resize both 1/4 windows in relation to it and not between each other.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by tiling three windows with one half-screen window and two quarter-screen windows, then resize the larger window repeatedly. Investigate Cinnamon’s window tiling and resize behavior to determine why only one quarter-screen window follows and why the two smaller windows change relative to each other. Done means both quarter-screen windows resize consistently with the half-screen window.
