Description
Having 3+ layouts I find it not quite comfortable to switch between them one after another, tapping switching key multiple times. It would be amazing if a hotkey might be assigned for switching to a particular layout, something like:
Alt+1 — English
Alt+2 — Russian
Alt+3 — Finnish
etc.
(It's still not quite clear to me if there already exists a corresponding command which can be put to user-defined custom shortcuts in cinnamon Keyboard Settings)

Research direction
Start by checking Cinnamon Keyboard Settings and the existing command for switching keyboard layouts, since the issue does not identify an implementation file or test. Determine whether custom shortcuts can already target a particular layout; done means providing direct hotkeys such as Alt+1, Alt+2, and Alt+3 for selected layouts.
