What happened?

My monitor's max brightness value (as reported by ddcutil getvcp 10) is 50, causing only the left half of the brightness slider (up to 50) to function, while the right half does absolutely nothing.

Research direction

Start with the ddcci-multi-monitor@tim-we applet named in the report and trace how it maps the monitor's DDC/CI VCP 10 brightness range to the slider. Reproduce the issue with a monitor whose reported maximum brightness is 50. Done means the full slider remains usable and brightness changes across the monitor's actual 0–50 range.
