Description
I’m not quite sure how to flash my Thinkpad. It appears the recommended flash programmer will fry thinkpad flash chips as it outputs 5v.
Is there not a compatible flash programmer found on Amazon/eBay?
Maybe I’m missing something but most people probably don’t want to make their own with a Raspberry Pi.

Research direction
The issue does not name a repository file or test. Start by checking the recommended flash programmer and its voltage requirements, then compare those with the ThinkPad flash chips and the suggested Raspberry Pi approach. Done would be a documented, safe compatible programmer or a clarified supported flashing procedure.
