Research direction

Start by inspecting how the project currently uses the `yield-iter` crate, then compare those usages with Rust's unstable `std::iter::from_generator` API. Done means determining whether the standard-library API can replace the crate without changing iterator behavior, with the affected usage and compatibility constraints documented or updated.
