Description
https://linkerd.io/2/tasks/distributed-tracing/#install-emojivoto :
The documentation shows how to add the needed annotations to the Kubernetes configuration. It seems to work if you add the annotations to the namespace instead. Would it be worth mentioning that?

Research direction
Start with the distributed tracing documentation at https://linkerd.io/2/tasks/distributed-tracing/#install-emojivoto and compare its Kubernetes configuration example with namespace-level annotations. Update the page to mention that the annotations can be added to the namespace when that behavior is supported, then verify the documentation clearly describes both options.
