Description
When viewing the demo and zooming in very wide, at some point the browser window gets "stuck" (or freezes). Reproducible in nearly every scene.
I tested this on linux fedora 44 with an amd gpu and on os x with a macbook pro -> same behavior

Research direction
Start by running the demo and reproducing the freeze by zooming very wide in several scenes, first on Linux or macOS. Trace the rendering or zoom path reached by the demo and identify where the loop fails to terminate. Done means wide zooming no longer freezes the browser across the affected scenes and platforms.
