Description

If I used this family of curves for velocity, how would the jerk be [between segments]?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerk_(physics)

Was investigating this for use in orientation, velocity and scale curves in an animation editor.

Also for curve reduction.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the issue's linked jerk definition and the attached curve image; no source file, test, or entry point is identified in the report. Define how jerk behaves between spline segments and what curve reduction should preserve, then document or validate whether the curves suit orientation, velocity, and scale animation.
