Description

Once #817 is merged, we'll have support for partial invalidation. However, request_anim doesn't make use of it yet. This can be seen in druid/examples/invalidation.rs, where the whole window gets repeatedly invalidated while the scrollbar is fading out.

Research direction

Start with druid/examples/invalidation.rs and trace the request_anim path, then read the partial-invalidation work from #817. Run the example to observe the scrollbar fade and identify the invalidated region. Done means request_anim uses partial invalidation so the entire window is no longer repeatedly invalidated.
