Description

Recently we encountered a panic and the timer task stopped after the panic, therefore proof for a redeem transaction had been delayed for a few hours. We need those tasks recover from such exceptions automatically. Maybe a good start to look into function DoTimerTask

Research direction

Locate the Go function DoTimerTask and trace how a panic or exception currently exits the timer task. Reproduce or inspect the failure path, then verify that the task continues or restarts after such a failure and that scheduled redeem proof work is no longer left delayed.
