Description

explainers/second-renaissance/ closes on a proposed protocol that has not been built. The piece says so plainly, which is defensible for now — but stops being defensible if a year passes and it still is not built. Tracking so it is not forgotten.

Research direction

Start by reading the explainer in explainers/second-renaissance/ and verify the status of the proposed protocol mentioned at its conclusion. The issue does not name an implementation entry point, test, or concrete change; completion would require the protocol to exist or the explainer's treatment to be revisited.
