Description
As mentioned in https://github.com/lichess-org/lila/pull/18549 (there wasn't any issue for this, just objective "allow local mainline analyses using stockfish-web. users can keep the results local or publish them to the server.")
I don't understand the long-term maintenance cost of supporting `stockfish-web` although regardless of how that PR fares, a desktop or cloud application for game studies may someday need this feature.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing external-engine protocol and the linked lila PR #18549, with attention to how stockfish-web currently handles local mainline analysis. Define the protocol behavior needed for sending bestmove and document how completion can be verified for desktop or cloud study applications.
