Description
Pretty much as title, shaders are default settings, same things happens with the Mega Bezel shader bundled with Retroarch, the actual Bezel turns black every single time a loading screen cues in, same when cutscenes load in (An example in Going Commando would be when you change planets, it also happens if you boot from the bios start up screen).
Both Retroarch and the PS2 core are using Vulkan as an API, integer scaling is disabled, and aspect ratio is set to full, resolution is also set to Native.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in RetroArch with the PS2 core and Mega Bezel shader using Vulkan, native resolution, full aspect ratio, and disabled integer scaling. Check transitions into loading screens, cutscenes, planet changes, and BIOS startup; done means the bezel remains visible throughout these transitions.
