Description
Game: Prince of Persia, The Sands of Time (USA)
Core: LRPS2 v2.0.0-65e8afb
Settings: Integer scaling, fullscreen mode, v-sync on
I wasn't sure what to name this ticket because it's hard to describe in a few words. So far only with this game have I experienced such behavior, where a semi-transparent box appears to be overlayed ontop of the screen, obscuring my view and at times making it impossible to see anything. It looks as if some of the images contained in this layer are menu/UI elements. These attached screenshots might help to explain what I'm seeing...
PS: In case it's relevant or specific to this game (ie. re-producing), I first noticed this issue when I loaded from the second save point, but it's possible some other variables changed in the mean time.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the visibility problem in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time with LRPS2 v2.0.0-65e8afb, integer scaling, fullscreen mode, and v-sync enabled, including loading from the second save point. Compare the result with the attached screenshots; done means identifying and correcting the semi-transparent overlay without breaking menu or UI rendering.
