Description

There is a graphical glitch when playing Majora's Mask, using the latest git-version of mupen64plus-libretro. I'm also using the latest RetroArch frontend.

I already tried setting the video accuracy to very high, but it still gave me this weird bug. When changing the GFX plugin to "rice", the rupee counter renders fine, but it has a graphical glitch when setting it to "automatic".

Is rice known for giving compatibility issues with Majora's Mask? I searched the web and found about crashes, but since those pages are outdated, I wondered if things have changed.

I'm using the NTSC-U version of Majora's Mask.

A screenshot displaying the bug is added as attachment.
retroarch-0301-220120

Rice has a graphical glitch too by the way. It displays two hearts instead of the three hearts as seen in the screenshot.

Update:

rice: displays only two hearts
glide64: rupee counter glitch
gln64: good so far, but the gfx plugin hasn't been updated since 2003 (http://gln64.emulation64.com/)
angrylion: black screen

Is this issue in the good GitHub project or should I submit the issue to:

?

Research direction

The issue names no source files or tests. First reproduce Majora's Mask NTSC-U with the automatic, Rice, Glide64, GLN64, and angrylion plugins in the latest git version; done means the rupee counter and hearts render correctly without the reported glitches.
