Description
The problem is best shown in the video I posted on YT:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_e4k2wftY0
The crosshair automatically appears in the upper left corner when it goes out of the screen. Changing the screen aspect ratio to full does nothing. I also tried with other input drivers.
Retroarch 1.15
Win 11, I7 8700k, Rtx 3070ti

Research direction
Start by reproducing the linked video using RetroArch 1.15 on Windows 11 and a light gun game, then trace the light-gun input and crosshair behavior when the aim leaves the screen. Done means the crosshair no longer incorrectly appears in the upper-left corner, including with different input drivers and screen aspect ratios.
