Description
Audio is low and buggy if you compile with new compilers such as GCC 6.3.0 or Clang 3.8.
Works fine with GCC 4.8.x.
It does not happen with the other FB Alpha 2012 core
Linux, x86_64

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the low, buggy audio on Linux x86_64 with GCC 6.3.0 or Clang 3.8, then compare the build and audio behavior with GCC 4.8.x and the other FB Alpha 2012 core. Done means identifying and correcting the compiler-dependent audio regression without breaking the working configurations.
