Description
Is there an existing issue for this?

- I have searched the existing issues
Description
When launching the GameCube version of RetroArch using Swiss, it just remains on a black screen. There is a video signal, but no image is displayed.
No log file is created.
Other homebrew software, including GBI and the 240p test suite, do work, as well as official games launched through Swiss.

Expected behavior
Launching RetroArch should succeed and the main menu should appear.
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Using a DOL-001 GameCube, install the PicoLoader mod and an SD2SP2.
- Extract the
retroarchfolder, as well as aROMsfolder, to the root of the SD2SP2 SD card. - Connect the GameCube to a CRT television (in my case, the Sanyo DS25320) using the official AV cable.
- In Swiss, mount the SD card, navigate to
/retroarch, and launch any of the DOL files.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the black-screen launch with a DOL-001 GameCube, Swiss commit emukidid/swiss-gc@891109b3, and RetroArch 1.22.2 or the nightly build. Compare launching the DOL files from /retroarch with the reported working homebrew, and investigate why no log is created. Done means RetroArch starts from Swiss and displays its main menu.
