Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in RetroArch with the OZONE font set to NotoSansTC.ttf, then apply a cheat file whose description contains CJK text such as “戦闘後魔法修得値”. Trace the frontend path that renders cheat descriptions and identify why these characters are not displayed. Done means CJK cheat descriptions render correctly on the reported Linux environment.
