Description
I'm having an issue with emulated N64 games on Mupen64Plus-Next where graphics for 2D collectibles will disappear after a seemingly random amount of time, and will only reappear if I reset the game, but even that isn't a permanent solution. I've had it happen with Yoshi's Story and B3313 Abandoned Gardens. Seen below (if it uploads correctly) is a example of the latter - those are the shadows of coins near Mario, and the coins are collectable, but they're difficult to see and this becomes a major problem with red coin collecting, and don't even get me started on the purple coins in Lava Bubble's Challenge, where some of the coins are floating above the lava making the act of getting them practically guesswork since they lose their shadows above the lava. If there's a fix for this, please let me know.
Expected behavior
2D objects remaining properly rendered for the whole of my play session.
Steps to reproduce the bug
It seems to happen at random. Best I can say is to play either of the games I listed until the bug occurs. My best guess is that its caused by entering a new loading zone.

Research direction
Start with the Mupen64Plus-Next core on RetroArch 1.22.2 under SteamOS/Linux and reproduce the issue in Yoshi's Story or B3313 Abandoned Gardens until 2D objects disappear, especially after entering a loading zone. Check the RetroArch log at the reported path. Done means 2D objects remain rendered for the whole play session.
