Description

Description
I believe this is a bug in the frontend, please move where appropriate if this is not the case.
I've observed the behavior while testing an issue here:
Option sensor orientation.
By default it is set to 0degree.
Tried changing to 90degree, but after selecting 90, the values was still on 0.
Tried changing to 180degree, but after selecting 180, the values changes to 90.
Tried changing to 270degree, but after selecting 270, the values changes to 180.
Tried changing to 0degree, but after selecting 0, the values changes to auto.
Expected behavior
I would expect that when the user selects 0 degree, the value changes to 0.
I would expect that when the user selects 90 degree, the value changes to 90.
I would expect that when the user selects 180 degree, the value changes to 180.
I would expect that when the user selects 270 degree, the value changes to 270.
Since the UI can represent also the value auto, I would expect that auto is a selectable option
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Start retroarch
- Go to Settings > Input > Motion / Light Sensor > Sensor Orientation
- Change the value to 0, 90, 180, or 270
- observe that the value does not change to what the user selected

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue through Settings > Input > Motion / Light Sensor > Sensor Orientation on Linux x64, checking each listed value including auto. The payload names no source file or test, so locate the generic frontend setting implementation from this menu path. Done means selecting 0, 90, 180, 270, or auto displays the same value selected.
