Description

The other day while testing the menu bgm feature i noticed that the background music will start up when the in-game (quick menu) is opened and it kind of took me out of it. I was wondering how difficult it would be to add the option in the settings menu (settings -> audio -> menu sounds -> enable bgm sound) to mute the menu music while the quick menu is opened during gameplay.

seems to me that if this is possible, maybe once the option to enable bgm sound is enabled, an additional feature to "mute BGM while quick menu is opened during gameplay" could be available for those that want to do so.

Research direction

Start by tracing the settings path Settings → Audio → Menu Sounds and the existing menu BGM behavior when the in-game quick menu opens. Determine where the new preference belongs and verify that enabling it keeps menu music muted only while the quick menu is open during gameplay.
