Description

Is there an existing issue for this?
  • This is a bug in RetroArch frontend
  • I have searched the existing issues
Description

Using nightly build, everything updated, assets downloaded etc. Nintendo Switch on latest Atmosphere update, OS update 19.0.1.

Retroarch crashes when loading a PSP game.

I found a workaround,

This guy shared a core that works perfectly.

I apologize if this isn't the best bug report, if this isn't the right place to post it etc.
I just thought it could be good to share the problem.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the crash on a Nintendo Switch running OS 19.0.1 with the PPSSPP core and a PSP game, then inspect retroarch__2026_02_15__05_21_31.log and retroarch__2026_02_15__05_21_39.log. Compare the working core linked in the report with the affected nightly build; done means PSP games load without RetroArch crashing.
