Hello.
Here AMD FX 6300 8 GB RAM GT 640
Linux Lubuntu 24.04.3 kernel 6.14
Desktop resolution 1920X1080 60 Hz session X11 nvidia driver 470.
RetroArch 1.22.0 59d74a0 ( 11-10-2025 ) 64 bits
In some cores ( nestopia , genesis gx plus and etc ) when scrolling screen to left or right happen issues in framerate as if are dropping some frames in sequence in interval of few seconds if in Nvidia X Server Settings Control Panel is enabled Force Composition Pipeline. GPU usage with Force Composition Pipeline disabled is 22 % and enabled 54 %.
In Retroarch settings video output the vertical refresh rate and set display reported refresh rate are configured for 60 Hz and estimated screen refresh rate is 60.002 2.3 % dev.
Changing in video synchronization vsync swap interval and max swapchain images not fix it.
That issue happen using vulkan and opengl.
If enabling in settings video synchronization sync to exact content framerate not happen that issue.
Perhaps not is an Retroarch issue. I need share that information.
Have Retroarch logs level 0 Debug using Nestopia with force composition pipeline enabled and disabled and "sync to exact content framerate" enabled and disabled.
In description "sync to exact content framerate" is for G-Sync and FreeSync . Enabling it even not using an G-Sync or FreeSync monitor does problems ?
