Description
When you modify parameters in Core Options for a game then go to Manage Core Options and Save Content Directory then exit out of RetroArch. The the saved settings will not save properly or show up properly if you immediately relaunch the same game. It will only show the saved settings properly once you selected another game in the same directory.
The settings might actually been saved, but visually on user interface it still shows the default original settings before the change.
Expected behavior
Once you saved content directory in core options. It should retain the actual settings even if you exit out of RetroArch and return to the same game immediately.

- Change a video setting
- Go to manage core options

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on Android 11 or a nightly build using the listed Core Options and Save Content Directory steps, then inspect the content-directory save and reload path. Done means the changed video setting is shown after exiting RetroArch and immediately relaunching the same game, without opening another game first.
